Regional EMS Case Study ProjectThe Zero Waste Network partnered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to document the process of forming a regional partnership. The project focused on measuring the results of a regional partnership to promote Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in North Texas. This page has some of the results from this effort. Implementation of the North Texas Regional Environmental Management System (NTREMS) - This case study and project description includes specific discussions of methods for promoting a partnership among multiple state, local, federal and private entities. It also includes resources that can be used in the development of an EMS partnership program. The purpose of the case study is to help promote regional EMS partnerships. It is intended to serve as a “how-to kit” based on practical experiences from participating organizations. In addition two cities were highlighted with detailed case studies.
