| convert drumed raw materials over to re-cyclable totes where possible in order to reduce RCRA empty crushed drum waste | ||
| Strict Enforcement of No Heels | ||
| Retraining of drivers who pickup empty containers on the No Heels Policy. Inspection by management of empty drum contents. | ||
| Outsourcing of Drum Cleaning | ||
| Have drums cleaned by outside drum cleaning business | ||
| Off-Site Empty Drum Recycle | ||
| Drums are cleaned on-site and then sent to an off-site vendor for recycle/reuse. | ||
| Reduce the number of Empty Drums | ||
| Set up Vendors to offer the product in reuseable containers and larger quantity totes. | ||
| Drum Re-Use | ||
| Re-use empty drums by filling the drums with waste, provided that the waste is compatible with the product originally in the drum | ||
