| Cooker Domes at the Rendering Plant | ||
| This option would involve the installation of five domes which would cover each meat cooker. The domes allow the cooking process to be more efficient, and they also prevent a "burping" effect when a given cooker is brought up to temperature. When a cooker "burps", high concentrations of BOD can impact the Waste Water Plant and thereby constitute a slug load. This situation increases the probability of a noncompliant event. | ||
