| Sort waste prior to entry into process |
| Instead of sorting the waste as part of the recycling process, this work could be performed outside our facility, at a way station. The sorting would then give us several standardized input streams for our process to operate on. This might save us money if the outside facility was close enough, and efficient enough. |

| Recycling |
| Recycle Petroleum Crude Oil. A lot of companies will redistill the crude oil for future use. Since Petroleum Crude Oil is not considered a Hazardous Waste then you would not want to mix this with your Hazardous Waste. |

| Recycling of non-Harzardous Waste from Hazardous Waste. This will cut down on the volume of the Hazardous Waste that is required to be counted against your monthly allotment of Hazardous Waste. |

| Recycle of Oil and Oily Water |
| Segregate used oil from oily waters and send it to a recycling or heat recovery facility for future use. |

| Off-Specification Product Reuse |
| Finished products that fail QC that are suitable for re-introduction into the manufacturing process in place of similar raw materials. |

| Waste Reduction via Cardboard Recycling |
| In December 2003, we will have completed the installation of a compactor which will be used to compact cardboard, which will then be shipped to a recycling facility. The task will require segragating the cardbaord from the plant trash. We anticipate that this process will reduce the number of loads of "Plant Trash" going to the landfill from 5 loads per week to 2 loads per week. We also anticipate recycling 3 loads of cardbaord per week. |

| Recycle oily wastewater |
| Use onsite wastewater treatment system to recycle oily wastewaters rather than offsite recycling. Run some of the treated water back through the cooling system to reduce the amount of water purchased. |
