|Emissions from the winders will be vented through to the regenerative thermal oxidizer.|
Formulation Change in Matrix Pouring
|The trend in manufacturing is towards the use of polyester resins with reduced styrene content. As of the beginning of this 5 year period, Austin Counter Tops uses a resin with 27.9% styrene. Emissions can be reduced by approximately 2 tons over 5 years with a 5% decrease in styrene content.|
|The proper selection of chemical binders and mold washes can reduce the amount of HAP- and non-HAP- VOC.|
