Unreviewed Options for Spill resulting from damaged freight
Following are a list of options that have been submitted by users of the pollution prevention planner. They have not been reviewed by pollution prevention specialists.
These options are presented so you can see what people in facilities are considering. As with any option (reviewed or unreviewed) you will have to adapt it to your facility.
Attention to work methods
|Prevention of spills during the course of loading/unloading chemical materials is contingent upon following the practices that are documented. Utilizing the SOPs in place to ensure freight does not shift during transit, heavy freight is not loaded on top and the proper tools are used when handling the freight would contribute to the waste minimization process.|
