Introduction to Environmental Compliance and Management - Houston

This course is designed to give the professionals the tools they need to ensure their workplace is in compliance with environmental regulations, reduce environmental risk, and anticipate pending environmental issues. The course will cover the basics of environmental regulations, and show the professional how to identify pertinent regulations. It will also cover how to manage common tasks associated with an environmental department such as permitting, avoiding violations, preparing for an inspection, keeping records and preparing reports. The course will follow a case study through each media to allow attendees to apply knowledge of topics discussed during the course.

Pollution Prevention Workshop - Houston

January 29,2009 until January 30,2009

This workshop will give you strategies on how to improve efficiency while decreasing or eliminating pollution. Experts in pollution prevention, environmental management systems (EMS), environmental regulations, and energy efficiency conduct an interactive workshop with classroom exercises that will help you use P2 strategies to improve your bottom line. In 2007 workshop participants reported savings of over $200,000 by implementing pollution prevention practices; they eliminated over 11,000 pounds of pollution, and reported improvement in compliance, energy use and water conservation.
