2008 National Environmental Partnership Summit - Baltimore

May 19,2008 until May 22,2008

The Environmental Partnership Summit is an interdisciplinary gathering of environmental professionals and assistance providers from diverse sectors all over the country and world. It was created five years ago with the merger of the annual meetings of the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable (NPPR), the Compliance Assistance Providers' Forum and the Performance Track Participants Association (PTPA).

This year's theme - "Accelerating Environmental Performance: Pathways to Action" - reflects our commitment to provide concrete examples of environmental leadership. Throughout the week, we will show a variety of business and government programs that have taken the environmental lead. Most importantly, these case studies will show how your business or program can do the same. Throughout the week, the 2008 Summit will provide examples of environmental leadership that will inspire you to take action.

The 2008 National Environmental Partnership Summit will be held at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center.

Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Workshop - Pasadena

June 4,2008 until June 4,2008

"What Happens after Top-Screen? Living with the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards."

Is your facility in compliance with CFATS? Some 5-8,000 industrial facilities in the US will soon find out if they are going to be regulated under the newly adopted Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), promulgated by the US Department of Homeland Security in late 2007. Many of these facilities will face new security requirements as a result.

This workshop will provide you with practical knowledge about the new CFATS regulation, and how to integrate your plant's security assistance and planning -- mandated for many facilities under these new regulations -- with your process safety and regulatory compliance efforts. Hosted by The University of Texas at Arlington's Division for Enterprise Development, in cooperation with ChemAlliance, The Texas Chemical Council, and the East Harris County Manufacturers Association, come to this one-day workshop and find out how your facility can prepare to comply with CFATS.
