Description:

As a result of this project, the plant was able to reduce upset conditions which reduced the amount of gas emissions venting to the flare from the compressor and the reactor. The project was primarily driven by economics.

P2 Application:

Dual strainers were installed on the suction line to the recycled gas compressor. This project eliminated the need to shut down the compressor which vented gases to the flare prior to this project.
