Description:

The Rock-Tenn Company allows the employees to take ownership of used pallets. The employees pickup and take property pallets that would be normally be put into the dumpster as waste. Employee's average 500 pallets per month.

Roughly 500 pallets per month are put to use instead of going to the dumpster.

The employee recycling saves Rock-Tenn $7,258.56 a year because the company no longer has to pay for 2-3 extra dumpsters a month to get rid of the pallets.
