Description:

Hunting Oilfield Services is a manufacturer of oil field equipment. It receives pipes of different sizes and composition from the customers. The pipes are cut, washed, and cleaned in a phosphoric acid bath, and are furnished with threads. A large volume of water is used to cool the blades of the pipe cutting machinery. Since the Site Assistant Visit (SAV), Hunting has been using a section of its roof to collect rain water which is used as a coolant medium.

Environmental Benefits:

An annual 150,000 gallons of drinking water is saved by Hunting.
