This workshop will give you strategies on how to improve efficiency while decreasing or eliminating pollution. Experts in pollution prevention, environmental management systems (EMS), environmental regulations, and energy efficiency conduct an interactive workshop with classroom exercises that will help you use P2 strategies to improve your bottom line.

In previous years, workshop participants reported savings of over $200,000 by implementing pollution prevention practices; they eliminated over 11,000 pounds of pollution, and reported improvement in compliance, energy use, and water conservation.

This course in partnership with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).  Instructors come from both organizations.  The course's framework is based on the Texas Waste Reduction Policy Act (WRPA) which requires Pollution Prevention (P2) planning for facilities that are a Large Quantity Generator, or Small Quantity Generator of hazardous waste or report on the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Form R."
